Week one done, damp & dusted

End of week one... Run number 3

There's nothing easy about sticking to a schedule. As all week there's been on thing or the other in the way. Today it was a lot of rain - nothing to drastic but enough under normal circumstances on a Sunday afternoon to put you off. So I can tell you, its getting a little easier to get out there when you know you have a schedule to meet. I just hope that this coming week it'll be more in my favour. So I'm sure running a little quicker. I forgot to time it today which was a mistake as I'm sure I ran faster and by the evidence that i ran only 1.76miles and less steps 3137 according to the TK800 means that my foot stride may have been longer and so triggered the pedometer to set off less. Which fits with the Yamax as this was also down at 3078 strides. What I don't know is how fast I'm running miles and hour so I can judge a race time yet. But I am upgrading to the Silva ex3 connect Pedometer. So I'll be uploading my run times and I've got a new Speedometer cycle computer so I really will be gadget boy and see if I can get a better handle on how much Kcal I burn and exercise I'm actually taking.

General muscle strengthening

You can feel the stomach muscles more this time running which makes me think that that's those exercises are helping. I heard something on Radio1 on annoying Jo Whiley show earlier which I will try out as these exercises are easy to do without equipment and seemed to make sense http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00spkt8
